Synopsys - Movie star Smith Sullivan can’t afford any distractions. He’s staking his entire reputation on his new film...but he can’t stop thinking about Valentina Landon and the fire he sees smoldering just beneath the surface of her cool exterior.

Valentina isn’t averse to sensual pleasure, or even to the idea of finding true love, but as a Hollywood business manager she’s watched too many smart women fall for actors...only to be torn apart when the fairytale comes to its inevitable end.

But when intense weeks together on set turn their heated attraction into red-hot flames of passion, Smith knows he has to find a way to convince Valentina to let him get a little bit closer. Close enough to completely steal her heart...the way she’s stolen his from the start.

There comes a point in our lives we need to change something that surpasses our expectations, and for the big movie star Smith Sullivan this is the begining he is challenging himself in a new way, he is directing a film, and even when dev eria be fully concentrated on this ... all he can think about is his co star agent Valentina.

“Some things are just perfect, even when they don't make any sense”

But how never is to easy Valentina has a rule against becoming involved with actors and she uses her tough exterior to keep Smith at arm's length. Fortunately for Smith he's very persuasive.

“You were right when you said that love shouldn’t have to be a battlefield. When it’s with the right person, I’ve seen love be easy. Sweet. And perfect.”

Again Bella brings a charming romance, and shows us another side of the stars of Hollywood. Not to mention the determination and care that Valentina has with her sister, she really deserves make a  part of the big Sullivan's family.

First Chapter on : The Lavender Garden - First chapters

Sinopsys : La Côte d’Azur, 1998
In the sun-dappled south of France, Emilie de la Martinières, the last of her gilded line, inherits her childhood home, a magnificent château and vineyard. With the property comes a mountain of debt—and almost as many questions.

Paris, 1944: A bright, young British office clerk, Constance Carruthers, is sent undercover to Paris to be part of Churchill’s Special Operations Executive during the climax of the Nazi occupation. Separated from her contacts in the Resistance, she soon stumbles into the heart of a prominent family who regularly entertain elite members of the German military even as they plot to liberate France. But in a city rife with collaborators and rebels, Constance’s most difficult decision may be determining whom to trust with her heart.

As Emilie discovers what really happened to her family during the war and finds a connection to Constance much closer than she suspects, the château itself may provide the clues that unlock the mysteries of her past, present, and future. Here is a dazzling novel of intrigue and passion from one of the world’s most beloved storytellers.

Lucinda Riley invites us to know a history marked by war, betrayal and secrets. In the lavander garder, Know the History of Emilie, she is the only living member of the aristocratic de la Martinières family.  She inherits the family fortune, including their Paris house and a beautiful château in the south of France, but unfortunately for Emilie, her mother also left her with debt. She decides to sell the Paris house and use the money to restore the grandeur of the old château.
As the secrets of the de la Martinières and the Carruthers families are revealed, Emilie must come to terms with the past, sort through the lies in the present, and forge a new future for herself.
Again Riley enchants with its dual narrative, the last question is fascinating and senses, besides having a very well tied history, there are no loose ends.   We are captivated by the stories of Constance, and especially by the sight of them. Constance for her sense of duty and loyalty, and Emilie for her determination to create something wonderful from the tragedy and loss of war.

The song is with Onerepublic Secret's

''Tell me what you want to hear

Something that'll like those ears
Sick of all the insincere
So I'm gonna give all my secrets away this time
Don't need another perfect line
Don't care if critics never jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away''

First Chapter on :  First chapter

Sinopsys - Suze's new life in California is pretty cool. There are the pool parties, the new friends, and the fact that "the" hottest ghost in history happens to live in her bedroom.
But when a screaming spirit appears at the end of her bed, Suze is thrown on to the trail of a murderer. All the clues lead to the freaky father of Tad Beaumont, the cutest boy in school . . . and the only guy who's ever asked Suze out. Not only is her potential beau's dad probably a killer, but he also seems be some kind of "vampire."

No one said that life as a mediator was going to be simple. But this is getting ridiculous . .

'' sometimes I am convinced my life is just a series of sketches for America's Funniest Home Videos, minus all that pants-dropping business. Except my life really isn't all that funny if you think about it.”
High Stakes - Meg Cabot

She is back, and the wonderfull ghost Jesse Too. On this book we see what happens when we do not have all the information and ended up swapping their toes.Due to great confusion she now sees trapped she's on  trail of a creepy local businessman, who just might be a vampire.

''It's kind of depressing, if you think about it. I mean, me being so young, and yet so cynical and suspicious.”
High Stakes - Meg Cabot

The book brings a bit of Good suzanna trying to reconcile parties, friends and your routine to help the ghosts around you. the most interesting part is the connection between Suze and Doc,  he is really cute.

The book is very good, has simple and catchy language is not intediante. Meg keeps the magic to describe the story. and to finalize the paçlavras I get the good and old Father Dom

''Father Dom looked taken aback. "Normal?" he echoed. As in, who would ever want to be that?”
High Stakes - Meg Cabot

The song for this book is Mr. Confusion by Beeshop ... for one just quote.

''The truth is there to be told

So try to stop
Stop breaking hearts
Stop hurting souls
And hurt yourself'''

''Life is too frickin' crazy sometimes, it really is....
You never know what's going to happen, do you.”

First Chapter on : Exerpt

Seven deadly sins. Seven souls to save. This is the first battle between a savior who doesn't believe and a demon with nothing to lose!

Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about-his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. And failure is not an option.

Vin DiPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that-until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking, Harley-riding, self-professed savior. And then he meets a woman who will make him question his destiny, his sanity, and his heart-and he has to work with a fallen angel to win her over and redeem his own soul.

First of all The book drags in certain spots because there is a lot of back story about each character that needs to be told, but there are also moments of action. Now, keep in mind because this is a romance novel the action scenes are few and far between, but the few that do exist leave an impact on the reader, especially the ending.

“I'm an angel not a frickin' saint.”

Both the angels and the demons need to agree on the identity a player, or champion, for their cause. This champion must be acceptable to both sides, therefore needs to have an equal capacity to do good and bad, and it will be up to this one person to influence the fate of seven souls. The winning side of the game will be the one with the most number of souls. Since there are to be seven souls in play there is no chance of a draw or tie-breaker. If the angels win the Earth will be “nothing but one giant frickin’ Christmas morning.” If the demons win, they get to keep all the souls on Earth and the angels will be slaves for all eternity.

“Don't be an asshole," the guy snapped as he cracked a freshie.

"Oh, right, because two in this group would be overkill.”

Do not forget the great humor from acid in all stories auntie Ward.

“No offense-but until I see it, I'm not going to believe it."
"And that is why you will fail."
Adrian cursed and hit the door. "Great, you've got him channeling Yoda again. Can we get moving before he levitates my fucking bike?”

To finish this excellent book, the story is very well intrinsic, fell in love with his characters in a heartbeat. It's one of those series that you will read and reread.
And the soundtrak is with the badlees  with fear of faling.. because ....

You can fly, fly, fly

Off to anywhere you choose

You can try, try, try
But eventually you'll lose
It seems there's always something
Tryin' to bring a good man down
I have no fear of falling
But I hate hitting the ground
